Don't worry about the ankle injury. It is just an excuse for Favre to miss training camp. It didn't seem neccissary though when Chilly said he didn't care if Favre came to training camp.

Will the Team be Better or Worse?

Better- Chris Cook adds some much needed size to our secondary, Gerhart will be an improvement over Chester, we have some new QB competition, Lito Sheppard adds big play ability to our secondary, the Pack's draft was just as bad as ours, we have more depth at DE

Worse- There was little to like about our draft, Favre will need surgery on his ankle to return in 2010, Ray Edwards may give the Vikings staff a headache this year

Can Go Either Way- Peterson's fumbling( If he's working on it or not), Favre's decision on retirement, players improving or becoming worse, the StarCaps case

Something To Think About

Bill Belichick earns in between 6 and 8 million a year. Chilly earns 5 million a year. I don't know about you but considering the distance between Belichick and Chilly in coaching is probably a lot more.

The Funnies

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Cheesehead.

She asks her students to raise their hands if they are

Cheeseheads too.

No one really knowing what a Cheesehead was, but wanting

to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like flashy

fireworks.

There is, however, one exception. A girl named Kristen

who has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has

decided to be different.

"Because I'm not a Cheesehead."

"Then", asks the teacher, "what are you?"

"Why, I'm a proud Vikings Fan," boasts the little girl.

The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks

Kristen why she is a rebel.

"Well, my mom and dad are Vikings Fans, so I'm a Vikings Fan too."

The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason," she says loudly. "What if

your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?"

A pause, and a smile. "Then," says Kristen, "I'd be a Cheesehead"
